Welcome to our fall bred doe sale!
Wechter Livestock currently runs 250 hd. While being on the road with a full time job, and only part time help, it assures our does have to work for us!
At time of spring hoof trimming and pre-breeding protocol, any does deemed unproductive with unsound udder, feet or bad mothers get sorted off and culled. We strive to only keep productive females in practice in order to sustain our program and ultimately our brand long term!We want our annual bred doe sale to help garner a good reputation in this great industry and of course, add value to the buyers firm!
We choose not to sonogram due to the numbers and convenience of blood check. We preg check all does at day 40-50, and day 90-100 for confirmations. In addition, this sale set received a 3rd test for verification (attached).
Last year's set of breds made champions at county fairs and even a keeper buck.
