Sale information

Welcome statement

Thanks for taking the time to look at our bred heifer offering. First off, everybody says this is our best set ever. Hands down this is our best set from top to bottom. There is something in this sale for everyone whether it be Angus, Simmental, Maine or club calf.

These heifers were synchronized with MGA, patched with Estrus Alert and heat detected. They were AI as they responded to the Lutalise. After AI they were sorted into a separate pen and the cleanup bulls went in approximately 10 days later. They were not time bred, so when we call her AI-bred she is guaranteed to the AI sire. The cleanup bulls used were all Turning Point sons, selected for calving ease and maternal traits. We cannot say enough good about the Turning Point cattle when used as a cross on these heifers. After breeding the cattle, they were moved to our pastures south of Cheyenne where they spent the summer at about 6500 feet. In mid-September, they were ultrasound by our neighbor and friend Bruce Bauman and trucked back to Carpenter. They were put on an alfalfa hay, straw, silage, and a little WDG ration. They had a Bovasheild Gold VL5 pre- breeding with a shot of 7-way. They were poured three times throughout the summer and will have a scour shot (Guardian) and another round of Bovsheild Gold VL5 in January. We will also pour them with Cleanup at that time too.

We want to say special thanks to our daughter Becky Heidenreich for her countless hours gathering information for these cattle, sorting and helping picture.

Please call or text if you have questions or stop by anytime. Thanks again.
