Ponca Valley Show Goats Online Sale - NE

Welcome to our Seventh Annual Ponca Valley Show Goat Sale. We continue to take steps to improve the quality and genetics of our show goat offerings. We purchased a “Trump Train” son from Janet Moraczewski’s Oak Creek Boer’s and retained a good young Billy from our 2024 crop. He is sired by JBLC JIM BEAM’S ADDICTION and a daughter of the “Teal Boer Goats” sire we have used for several years.

We are selling five April & May 2025 does and ten January 2026 wethers. Again, this year we will be offering the goats in their everyday working clothes. They have all been handled and haltered several times. If you have questions, please give us a call. These goats are also slightly younger than our past offerings as we moved kidding back to the middle of January. We are extremely pleased with the way these goats have grown and developed and we believe there are some outstanding show prospects

We will be offering the first crosses of “Trump Train’s” offspring on JBLC JIM BEAM’S ADDICTION does sired by sires we have purchased from Vickie Imig at Lakeside, Nebraska "VTZ Show Goats" and another we purchased from "Teel Boer Goats" at Stillwater, Oklahoma. I am very confident that this group of goats are showing the results of our selection for increased muscle and frame. They are certainly the best group of goats we have offered. 

We are extremely pleased with the youth’s results that purchased goats over the past six years as they continue to be more competitive and successful each year. Over the past six years, youth have shown Champions, Res-champions and purple ribbons in ten different county fairs and regional shows in Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming. 

We will continue to offer sale credits for youth that successfully exhibit goats purchased in our sale. Youth successfully exhibiting at local and county fairs with Champions, Res-Champions, and purple ribbons will receive sale credits of $50, $25 and $10 respectively in future sales. We welcome you to visit the ranch to view the goats prior to the sale or on sale day or call with any questions you might have. 

The sale order for this year consists of:

·      Ten January 2026 wethers 
·      Five outstanding 2025 April & May does

The goats are listed by their lot numbers and also have a tag together with a tag number of their mother. I believe they are the best set of goats we have sold and have some of the first offspring of “Trump Train” “Axle” and “Ricky Bobby” crossed on JBLC JIM BEAM’S ADDICTION, does. He is a heavy muscled Billy we purchased from Janet Moraczewski’s Oak Creek Boer’s. 

There are certainly quality goats throughout the sale and I believe we have some goats that will be very competitive in the fall shows again this year. We have included their weights as of May 10, 2026. As a group these are the heaviest group, and heaviest muscled goats we have sold.
