After years of building this program, generating champions, high sellers, and lifelong friendships, the time has come for us to slow down and enjoy the next chapter of life. What started as a passion project ultimately helped pay off a farm, put two daughters through private university, and created memories we would never trade for anything.

With the purchase of our lake home in Tennessee and retirement now becoming reality, we have made the difficult decision to disperse the very genetics that built our program.

This is not a “cull sale.” These are the donors, embryos, semen lots, and proven females that we planned to continue building around ourselves. Many of these genetics never would have been available under normal circumstances.  Only in a dispersal does a set like this become available.

We have always believed that elite livestock should not only win banners — they should generate real financial return.  While most in this game are in it for the glory and the fame, the old man has been in it for the money.  

In order to avoid the cut from our bred doe sale last fall, a doe needed to have produced a $3,000 or higher kid.  How many herds have that kind of selection pressure put upon them?  The offering in this sale represents 15 years of intense selection pressure for animals that are exotic, productive, fertile, and profitable.

Welcome to Everett Tom Show Cattle, Dandee Cattle Co. and once again Wuthrich Show Stock has joined us for our second sale.This set of calves has some of our younger calves, but there is no lack in quality! We are proud to offer this set of cattle.  The great majority of these cattle were raised in our programs or from our genetics, with many the cows being stock that were produced here.  In some cases, we raised these calves grand mothers too, and in very select cases, perhaps their great grand dams.  The cattle that weren’t raised on either of our ranches came from a very select group of consignors, that we have been working with over the years.  We are proud to include their cattle alongside ours.

We are working with sweet mannered females this year and stand by the temperament and docility of the cattle marketed through this sale. Not only do we manage temperament strictly in our herd, but the consignments are evaluated based on temperament as well. We are all adults working on the cattle, and they handle incredibly well for us; adjusting to a shorter, younger person should always be done gracefully. Each heifer is broke to lead & set up. If we feel some heifers would be better for older exhibitors it is mentioned in the footnotes.

Plum Creek Angus is retaining 50% embryo interest of all females offered and reserves the right to obtain a cell line and/or clone every female in the offering. Any use will be done at the seller's expense and the buyer's convenience. All females are property of the new owner after the completion of the auction. We recommend that buyers purchase insurance through their respective agents for further protection. 

Herd Health

All heifers have been vaccinated with Vision 7 Somnus, Pyramid 5 Presponse SQ, and Autogenous Mycoplasma, poured, treated with Safe-Guard Dewormer, as well as bangs vaccinated.

Registrations

Heifers have been, or will be, registered with their respective breed associations and tattooed accordingly. Registrations can be transferred immediately once payment is received.

Welcome Statement:

Kasl Simmentals would like to thank everyone for taking the time out of their busy schedules to scope out our 3rd annual Queens of the Kasl event! Our motto at Kasl Simmentals has always been “Quality before Quantity,” and we feel this group exemplifies exactly that. We have no doubt that there are several females in this year's offering who can compete at an extremely high level and then be a solid foundation and/or future donor for any program. All of the calves have great dispositions, having been washed and tied numerous times, with a majority of them shown at our local County Fair. They are registered with the Simmental Association, up-to-date on their vaccinations and ready to rock & roll as soon as they are in your possession. Papers will be transferred to the new owner once settlement is made in full and we are notified by SC.  Also selling alongside this set of elite females, are embryos, an IVF aspiration & a pregnancy from our feature donor, GKS Milana E410, who we fully believe is the epitome of the Simmental breed and entwines cow families that have had a tremendous impact on the bovine industry and most definitely will for years to come.

Our remaining does we have to offer are sired by our home grown buck we call Captain...he was our keeper buck from our Carry the Boats flush and his dam is a Tag team daughter from our original stork purchase Kaepernick x Tallcans. The dam to these kids is our Big Al doe. Our siblings of this cross that we took to Saturday in the South were well received, with both the does selling for right at 4k. This was a consistent cross that I plan to repeat. They are stylish with plenty of handle. All are GCGPA eligible
